SeaWraps started in a garage, wrapping our own cars before we ever charged a customer. Three facilities later, we're a STEK certified shop in Kent, WA doing two cars a day: paint protection film, vinyl wraps, window tint, and chrome deletes, at the level of detail you can only reach when you take the time to do it right.
It started back in 2019. Daniel Rhodes was obsessed with vinyl and paint protection film, wrapping his own vehicles before ever touching a customer's car. Word spread fast, friends started asking for help with their builds, and what began as a personal obsession quickly became a real business.
That path, enthusiast first, installer second, shop owner third, shaped everything about how SeaWraps operates. We opened our first bay, outgrew it in six months, outgrew the second in eight, and built out our current facility on S 228th St in Kent as a dedicated climate-controlled shop. No outdoor tents, no dusty garages, no shared bays.
Today we install paint protection film, full vinyl wraps, color PPF, ceramic window tint, chrome deletes, and custom graphics for daily Teslas, seven-figure exotics, Jeep dealerships, and everything in between. Same process for every car. We'd rather take an extra day than hand you a vehicle with a lifted edge or a visible seam.

We run one or two vehicles at a time. No shared bays, no rushed jobs. The owner is hands-on with every install and holds the team to the same standard that 5-star reviews keep mentioning: edge work, prep, and seam inspection under actual shop lights.

We work on a small number of vehicles at a time, by appointment. No rushed installs, no shared bays, no surprises on pickup day. Every car follows the same path:
You tell us the vehicle and the goal. We quote real numbers based on your year, trim, paint condition, and the coverage you actually want. No one-size-fits-all packages, no upsell scripts.
On drop-off, every panel gets a full exterior wash, clay bar, iron decontamination, and film-safe prep wipe. If paint correction is needed, we address it before any film touches the car.
Badges, trim, door handles, and mirror caps come off where possible so film tucks cleanly behind every edge. Patterns are plotter-cut to your exact year/make/model, then hand-trimmed for a seamless finish.
Film cures indoors, overnight. Final QC happens under inspection lighting before your car leaves. Two weeks later, you come back for a complimentary inspection — we check every edge and fix anything that needs it, no questions.
We don't install everything — we install the films and vinyls we've personally put thousands of hours of installs through.
Our shop is in Kent, but clients drive in from across King and Pierce County.
